Furnace Linings:
We are continually involved in furnace repairs across the UK,
Europe and the USA.
From small Batch furnaces, to full design and build of linings
for furnaces capable of Heat Treating or Re-heating for forging,
ingots of up to 300 tonnes.
The refractory linings would incorporate; Insulation and dense
brickwork, castables, rammable products, and our "Lowtherm", low
thermal mass systems.
Kiln Linings:
With customers in the Pottery, Brick, high temperature ceramics,
Sanitary Ware and Abrasives industries, as well as Kiln
Builders, our "Lowtherm" system of fibre modular lining is a
great success. From small repairs to full Kiln relines, our
Engineers will tailor make designs to suit your particular
application.
For example, in the Brick industry, to combat the attack of
acids on the stainless steel anchor system of our modular
designs, we developed resistant coatings that dramatically
extend lining life.
Our "Lowtherm" linings have been shipped worldwide by UK Kiln
builders, forging long standing relationships that continue
today.
"LOWTHERM" Fibre Modular System:
This range of products are manufactured for use at temperatures
up to 1600oC, with standard sizes from 100mm thick to 300mm
thick, in either a "sawn face" or "convoluted" design.Module
length up to 1800mm. Module densities of up to 192kg/m3 are
available, with stainless steel anchors on 304, 310 and 316
grades, all acid resistant coated if required.
Body Soluble, non RCF modular linings are available for use up
to 1200oC.
Composite Linings:
A Ceramic Fibre modular system with a two part design comprising
a hotface material of 1600oC material, backed by, and
interlocked with 1430oC material behind.
For use in situations where the furnace is operating at a
temperature of between 1350oC and 1450oC, above which we would
recommend a full thickness 1600oC lining. Please call for
further information and data.
Stick-on Veneer Pads:
These fibre Tiles may be attached to brickwork, castables and
rammables, as well as high temperature insulation firebrick, to
reduce the Heat Storage in Furnace or Kiln walls and benches.
They may even be attached to other fibre linings, ie; modular.
